There are no mandatory pre-requisites for this course, however it is helpful to have a basic knowledge and understanding of electrical science and principles and experience of electrical installation work either within the electrical contracting industry or an allied trade.
Students must be 18 years or over to book on to this course, to meet City & Guilds age requirement for sitting the online exam.
All students should bring with them to the course the following books:

Tools are provided for the practical lessons; however, you may bring your own tools if they are VDE rated.
Weekdays:
Online exam will usually take place on Wednesday afternoon.
Week 2: Extra Practice Day (where chosen and paid for) – Monday 10th June 2024
Assessment day – Tues 11th June, Weds 12th June or Thurs 13th June 2024

We have taken care to ensure candidates can take holidays whilst on our Weekend and Evening Courses due to the long-term, regular nature of classroom sessions in this format.
