As of 10 November 2020, the 2377-77 Level 3 Award in the In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment will replace the City & Guilds 2377-22 Portable Appliance Inspection and Testing (PAT) qualification.
During Erudite Training’s 2-day 2377-77 course you will go through the relevant legislation surrounding practical inspection and testing of electrical equipment, you will also learn how to carry out the tests and decipher the results. This will allow you to say whether the equipment you are testing is safe for continued use.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course however, students must be 18 years or over to book on to this course, to meet City & Guilds age requirement for sitting the online exam. Entrants should also have basic English and maths skills.
